Bangkok is the capital city of Thailand and in Thai is known as Krung Thep Maha Nakhon or 'City of Angels'. It is an urban metropolis with a population of over twelve million people at present. The city has many hip markets, malls that would rival anything in New York, a very vibrant nightlife and therefore attracts thousands of different tourists per year. The Bangkok accommodation and hotels for these tourists are clearly a priority and many people are cashing in on this boom with great deals on hotels and resorts to stay in whilst you are in Bangkok.
Where will you stay in Bangkok? There are thousands of Bangkok hotels to choose from right. This would be a correct statement and due to this there is no need to go without the Bangkok accommodation or hotel you desire. A lot of the hotels in Bangkok will combine all the modern amenities you expect from a hotel/accommodation but will try and give them a Thai twist. All offer great deals and there really is something for everybody, right down to backpackers looking for a cheap deal. The hotel you stay in will be the base of your operations whilst in Bangkok so have a look through all the accommodation on offer throughout the site and choose which hotel will be best for you and also gets you the best deal.
Once in Bangkok and you have picked out your accommodation, be it a 'swanky' hotel or something more downmarket, it is time to explore what the city has to offer. Just a few minutes' walk from your Bangkok hotel or accommodation will be one of Bangkok's many attractions. But how will you get there? Bangkok has a marvellous transport system, a sky-train has been installed along with an underground rail system that covers as much of the city as possible. And as Bangkok had been known to have to deal with traffic these lines have become a welcome addition.
The nightlife in Bangkok can only be described as eccentric! It varies from swanky restaurants to epic nightclubs. Something for everybody is a term I have used a lot in this article but the nightlife really does. Depending on the location of your hotel/accommodation in Bangkok you are usually round the corner from a restaurant or bar. If you are looking for somewhere specific then you may have to travel a little further but I can personally guarantee that between the upmarket clubs to the smallest little bars you will never be without something to do at night in Bangkok.
