Only 2 minutes from the town and bus station you will find our handmade bamboo bridge over the Pai river and shortly thereafter, our village. A village of natural huts made of bamboo and dried leaves, the most basic natural materials that have been used for hundreds of years by the hill tribe people - Baan Pai Riverside is the ultimate Pai experience!

Our 22 huts built by village carpenters of teak and bamboo have private hot & cold showers and are tastefullydecorated with trendy accent. One can sit on the sala style balcony of each hut and relax after the day's outing and relish in our garden surrounded by flowing streams.

Our bamboo sala restaurant overlooking the flowing Pai river is an excellent place to sit and enjoy your breakfast. For the evening, we have a camp fire and on some nights, whole roast pork barbecue on the terrace with excellent local corn brewed liquor served from bamboo cups - definitely an experience to tell your friends at home about. The weather sometimes drops to 15 - 2 0C on winter nights so make sure to bring a sweater and your sense of adventure.
Poppies Wine Bar & Restaurant is a spacious and modern two story restaurant offering seating for up to 80 people. Serving a variety of food from authentic Thai, including delicious curries and Northern Specialties, as well as Italian fare and a wide selection of international delights Poppies has quickly become a local favorite. While the food is plentiful and hearty, the menu price is light on the budget, since many ingredients are locally obtained.
