wide stretch of beach for idling the days away. Being only 5kms from Had Rin also makes Dew Shore an ideal place to stay for those wishing to experience the
Full Moon Party - but from a safe distance. Hospitality is great here and the facilities have changed with the times. Over the years the family at Dew
Shore have used their experience to develop the resort into the tropical paradise that it is now. From the moment you arrive, their friendly reception and
efficient service make you feel so at home that you'll never want to leave. At Dewshore Bungalows you'll find luxurious modern bungalows at
reasonable prices. Recently upgraded to include impressive Air-Con Mediterranean style villas set around a beautiful Sunset swimming pool, Dewshore has also
kept the traditional beach bungalows so that the accommodation at the resort is suitable for all budgets. Prices start at 550 Baht, up to 3200 Baht for
spacious family/group rooms - all with private balcony and bathroom. Ao Ban Tai has long been a favourite of many returning visitors to Koh
Phangan and is part of the long unbroken stretch of white sand beach that runs from Ban Khai right the way up to Thong Sala. Most of the land along the
coastline has been farmed as coconut plantations and the area takes on a dreamy desert island feel with palms leaning in to the calm emerald sea. Ao Ban Tai
has a broad beach that is protected from the high seas by the rich coral reef that follows the south and west coastline, providing a haven for beautiful and
harmless marine life and a great place to go snorkelling. The resorts are generously spaced on the long beach of Ao Ban Tai, making it easy to
find solitude; and there are also a few beach bars if you fancy a drink under the stars. The fishing village of Ban Tai has some great places to try the
local seafood and there are even a couple of party venues if you fancy dancing the night away on the white sand beach.
RoomsDewshore Resort has a total of 20 well-maintained and spacious bungalows; tastefully decorated with sunset sea views over Koh Samui. All
have bathrooms with Western fittings and come in a range of styles and prices to suit every traveller. There are two spacious deluxe Mediterranean
villas with air-conditioning, hot water, refrigerator and a separate seating area for you to relax in cool comfort. There are another eight air-conditioned
Mediterranean villas that have hot water and a choice of sleeping options. The resort also has twelve fan bungalows that have wood panelled walls and fly
screens on all the doors and windows at very reasonable prices.

The restaurant at Dew Shore
is set amongst the wonderful mature gardens with open walls so that there is barely a transition between outside and inside. It looks over tropical fish
pools and through the palms, providing an image of paradise with picturesque sunset views over the bay. The extensive menu is reasonably priced with special
regional Thai dishes, Western cuisine including Italian pasta and mashed potato, gourmet sandwiches and burgers, extensive salads and much more. If you want
to sample the magnificent seafood that the Gulf of Thailand offers, Dew Shore provide a fresh daily selection of locally caught delicacies and the family
will put together an exquisite seafood barbeque with an after-dinner fire on the beach for groups who order in advance. There is also a bar in the restaurant
where you can unwind and relax with a delicious cocktail or cold beer after a hard day on the beach. Dew Shore offers a range of facilities and
activities to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Free snorkelling equipment is available to explore the rich coral reef off Ao Ban Tai that lays
about 130 metres from the beach; protecting it from the incoming sea and creating a calm bay that is deep enough to swim in most tidal conditions. Another
great way to check out the abundant local marine life is by taking a trip on Dew Shore's traditional Thai longtail boat. Volleyball and badminton can be
played on the beach, there's a large communal hammock area for catching sunset and a satellite TV for live sporting events, movies and videos. There are
telephone and laundry services provided and a travel booking service if you ever want to move on! Horse riding can be arranged, motorbikes and jeeps are
available for hire and there's a taxi service if you don't want to drive. Should the tides be low as they can be at certain times of the year
