Haad Son Bungalows
Haad Son Bungalows are located on their own secluded white sand
bay on the popular sunset coast of Koh Phangan. The resort has been established for nearly a decade and the rich tropical gardens and wonderful natural
surroundings have matured with time, harmonising with the environment and creating a special private paradise. The resort has a great variety of
accommodation options with the emphasis on style and quality; from island style huts to luxury air-conditioned cottages. Haad Son Bungalows prides itself on

beautiful location. The beach of Had Son is one of very few on Koh Phangan which has remained virtually undeveloped and it presents a perfect picture
of an idyllic desert island cove. The resort occupies the north end of the beach whilst the central and southern areas are completely uninhabited, leaving a
300 metre long stretch of virgin white sand fringed with tall shady coconut palms. A live and vibrant coral reef with mesmerising corals and amazing tropical
marine life lies about 70 metres from the shoreline, providing an easily accessible gateway into the fantastic underwater world of scuba diving and
snorkelling. Either side of the broad beach, huge granite formations form protective arms surround the cove, cutting it off from the neighbouring beaches and
adding to the feeling that it is a private bay.
RoomsOver the years Haad Son Bungalows have gradually added new buildings
to their resort, resulting in a great variety of well-maintained new or nearly new bungalows that are either right on the beach or positioned on the hillside
so that all have wonderful sunset sea views.
There are 36 rooms in total, all coming with en suite bathroom and in numerous styles providing a
great variety of accommodation options. Ranging from Island style huts with fan for the budget traveller up to air-conditioned bungalows with twin double
beds, refrigerator and hot water for those who want to live it up a little. Although there are many rooms, care has been taken to ensure that the wonderful
natural beauty of the area remains and the bungalows have been positioned so as to blend in with the landscape and rich tropical gardens.
FacilitiesThere are two restaurant areas at Haad Son Bungalows, set into the hillside and commanding stunning
sunset sea views over the Islands of Angthong National Marine Park. Whether you wish to sit out on the sun terrace, lounge on the traditional Thai
'tiang-nang' raised platforms or chill out at the poolside restaurant, there is plenty of space to relax while you enjoy any number of culinary delights
from the extensive menu. The experienced team of chefs are equally at home cooking both Western and Thai cuisine, serving a vast range of Thai and Asian
dishes and using imported cheeses, herbs and other delicacies for authentic taste. Their daily choice of fresh seafood is a tantalising selection of
everything from giant prawns to the locals favourite of Mackerel steak.
Haad Son Bungalows has more than enough to keep you occupied, so much
so that you will find it very hard to find a reason to leave. The swimming pool is impressively set into the hillside, perfect for a sunset dip with amazing
sea views. It is complimented with a small children's pool and there are plenty of sun lounges for those who want to chill by the pool. If you'd rather see
a bit of beach action, there is volleyball, badminton and even the occasional game of football; or great swimming, snorkelling and even kayaking! There is a
beach bar so that during the day you're only footsteps away from a cooling cocktail and it's a great place to watch the fishing boats light up the night
sky. The resort is also fully equipped with satellite television, internet and international telephone and fax services.
