Kood island ranks as the forth-largest island in the country. It lies among its 52-island chain in the Trad province, which is the close neighbor to the People's Republic of Cambodia. The distance from central Bangkok is about 350 kilometers away.

Because of its remote distance from urban, the island is renowned for its spectacular virginity. Koh Kood still maintains its natural perfection of white sandy beach, a line of hills abundantly covered with wild vegetation and fauna which have occupied this territory long before human dwellers. In the past decades, only villagers and fishermen have been living on this island. The official figure at present shows that there are less than 1,500 villagers on the area of 127 square kilometers.

The best time of year to visit Koh Kood is in early November until the end of February because of its relatively cool, dry and sunny weather. After the month of May is the monsoon season which typically be the heaviest rainy period.

The Villa

Seaside Cottage

This is our 'signature' house, available in 1 unit with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The Seaside Cottage matches 4-12 guests with these standards and amenities:

Private Cottage

Available in 6 units. Each unit matches for 2-4 guests with shower, restroom and change room. An extra large balcony is an ideal for your own relaxation. The Private Cottage comes with these standards and amenities:

Beachfront Cottage

Available in 1 unit with one large bedroom. Each bed is separated by divided curtain. 4 shower rooms and 2 restrooms are separated from the bedroom. A large balcony is one of the best spot for sea view . Beachfront Cottage can occupy up to 20 guests with these standards and amenities:

Economy Tent

Available in 20 units with extra large space enough to walk inside. The shower and restroom are just only a few steps from the tent. Each unit fits for 3-5 persons with:

Activities

Your time is your own at Koh Kood Laguna. A major decision is whether to take any of our recommended activities or enjoy doing them all. Try getting out to the sea on Laser sailboat, get the snorkeling gear to watch the colorful fish just off the beach. For a little bit more excitement, try banana boat, donut boat or water ski with a modest fee.

There is no swimming pool at Koh Kood Laguna. We offer instead a beautiful, refreshing, calm and much more interesting sea, just a few steps away.

Water sports

• Banana boat > 5 person a ride, 800 Baht per 30 minutes
• Donut boat > 2 person a ride, 800 Baht per 30 minutes
• Water ski > 1 person a ride, 800 Baht per 30 minutes with instruction
• Laser sailboat > 2 person at a time, 1,000 Baht per hour (minimum 2 hours with advanced booking)

Beach volleyball

Koh Kood Laguna's front beach area is large enough for a standard volleyball field that you will find a meaningful afternoon activity.

Sports fishing

Shore fishing is recommended as well as renting the boat day or night for trolling or dropline fishing over one of the reefs. The rent fee is only 3,000 Baht and calculated only from the cruising time.

Stargazing

Stargazing is a romantic idea for late night activity. Because of its remote location so there will be less disturbance from the lights. You can enjoy this amazing scene with or without astrology knowledge.

Snorkeling

Young coral reef wall is just off the beach for you to discover if you'd wish only to enjoy snorkeling. The boat is also available if you'd prefer SBUBA diving. The rent fee is only 3,000 Baht and calculated only from the cruising time.
