Overlooking the water from Mae Haad Beach, the Koh Tao Royal Resort has luxury bungalows, a top class restaurant and the friendliest people you can imagine. Under the watchful eye of managers Mr. Chai and Ms. Sao (Thai for brother & sister), the resort is professionally run and all the team are proud to make your stay as pleasant and problem free as possible.

Mae Haad beach is just a five minute walk from the main centre of the island and the Royal Resort is along a peaceful stretch of walkways with no cars or motorbikes. The tranquility of this setting is an ideal base for experience one of Thailand's more beautiful places.

Rooms

Set in the hills overlooking Mae Haad Beach, the Royal bungalows are luxurious and well maintained. There is always someone around for checking in if you arrive late and all the team will go out of their way to ensure you have every comfort you need.

Accommodation starts with the standard bungalow which is complete with fan and en-suite shower room/toilet and goes up to the deluxe air-con bungalow with bathroom, skylight and can sleep up to six people, ideal for families

Facilities

As the sun goes down, take your seat in the Royal restaurant and sample local Thai dishes and all the western favorites you can think of to remind you of home. For just a few dollars you can have a good feed and a couple of cold drinks to round off the day.

Chai and Sao have been in the catering industry for a number of years and they know exactly how to entertain their guests. The friendly staff are all brothers and sisters which gives a real family atmosphere. The bar area has a pool table and if there's a major event happening around the world, don't worry, satellite T.V. has recently been installed to keep you up to date.
