Pakchong is a district town in Nakorn Ratchasima province which was very important city in the ancient days. It used to be governed by the high ranking ruler called Chow-praya. In the province visitors may find trace of interesting ancient Khmer civilization and the statue of Khunying Mo or Thow Suranaree who is the great heroine of Siam.
