It's a wonderfull place with a unique atmosphere ! Plaa's Thansadet Resort is located on Thansadet beach, the quiet and serene sunrise beach on the east coast of Koh Phangan.

The resort has been established for nearly a decade and the rich tropical gardens and wonderful natural surroundings have matured with time, harmonising with the environment and creating a special private paradise. The resort has a great variety of accommodation options with the emphasis on style and quality; from island style huts to western standard cottages.

The resort is positioned on a hillside that runs into a white sand beach and calm azure sea, ensuring that every room has stunning views over the beach and the Gulf of Thailand. There are only 15 bungalows, so the atmosphere is personal and friendly, and all are reasonably priced to suit every traveller's budget. Rooms

Rocky Modern with spectacular view over the Gulf of Siam !

These cottages are all furnished and very spacious, with private bathroom, hot shower and front terrace. All of the rooms offer a stunning view over the sea and beach and are set amongst wonderful tropical gardens with manicured lawns and romantically lit paths. The interiors are all wood panelled and the floor is also beautifully finished wood; the spacious bathrooms are western style and are finished with ceramic tiles throughout.

Due to the seclusion of Than Sadet, we run our electricity from a generator. All bungalows have fans, electricity coming on in the evening. The Rocky Modern bungalow is also available for 3 persons with an extra single bed on the first floor. The emphasis is on quality and style and every effort has been made to ensure the rooms are comfortable, clean, quiet and a pleasure to be in. Care has been taken to ensure that the wonderful natural beauty of the area remains and the bungalows have been positioned so as to blend in with the landscape and rich tropical gardens. These cottages are all furnished - with a double bed, private bathroom, shower and a spacious front terrace. All the bungalows face the beach and are positioned so that there is a sea view from every balcony and enough space between them for complete privacy.

Rocky Budget with stunning view over the Gulf of Siam !

These Thai style huts are the best choice for travellers runing on low budget. Offering a double bed for up to 2 persons and a very spacious balcony with a fantastic view over the ocean. Shared bathroom with toilet are just a few meters away.

Facilities

Plaa's Restaurant is positioned at the top of the hillside with simply the best view over Thansadet beach and the National Park. The restaurant is well known to be one of the best on Thansadet beach, serving exquisite Thai and Western cuisine at affordable prices. Plaa also specializes in a variety of traditional Thai dishes, rarely seen on other menus. There is a wide choice of traditional Thai food, seafood, salads and also Mediterranean foods and the experienced chef and her staff always provide a friendly clean and professional service.

The restaurant has several different areas to relax in with raised Thai style platforms with triangle cushions and good "old" tables and chairs!

Their daily choice of fresh seafood is a tantalising selection of everything from giant prawns to the locals favourite of Mackerel steak. The chef herself goes to the fishing village of Koh Phangan every day to buy the most fresh supplies. The extensive menu is reasonably priced with special regional Thai dishes, Western cuisine including Italian pasta and mashed potato, gourmet sandwiches and burgers, extensive salads and much much more.
