Ideally situated in the peaceful northeast corner of the tropical island paradise of Koh Samui, the Samui Mermaid Resort offers visitors a relaxed beachside setting combined with stunning views over the whole of the Big Buddha Beach and bay area.
 
The Samui Mermaid Resort is the ideal base for a holiday on the island, being only 15 minutes away from the airport and 15 minutes drive to the lively nightlife of Chaweng or (and half an hour to Lamai) where you can take in a cabaret, go clubbing or just people watch, or 15 minutes in the opposite direction will take you to the quaint fisherman's village of Bophut.

Within a short stroll along the soft golden sandy beach, small piers provide ferries and speedboats to the island of Koh Tao, well-known for its diving, snorkelling and wildlife or to Koh Phangan where the famous Full Moon Party is held on Haad Rin beach.

The Mermaid caters for all our guests needs and can arrange activities such as deep sea fishing, kayaking, island tours, PADI diving courses, elephant trekking and golf.

The Samui Mermaid Resort has 76 spacious and well appointed rooms, many with sea views, air-conditioning, cable TV and mini-bar. Two swimming pools are provided for your enjoyment and relaxation with The Little Mermaid poolside bar and all day barbecue catering for your refreshment. The Dolphin, the main restaurant and bar is situated overlooking the beach where you can enjoy fine Thai or international cuisine, sip an exotic cocktail from our well stocked bar and absorb some of the most spectacular views and sunsets on the island.

The beautiful setting of the main restaurant and bar, The Dolphin, complemented with magnificent views over the whole of Big Buddha bay and Koh Phangan, is the ideal meeting place for sipping a pre-dinner cocktail with friends and family and enjoying the peace and tranquility while witnessing the stunning sunset over Bophut to the west and the calming effect of the Buddha Idol to the north.

The restaurant is renowned for its Thai and international cuisine with all produce provided fresh from local sources daily.

The restaurant serves Thai and international meals and snacks all day, and the well stocked bar specialises in tropical cocktails and ice-cold beers.

The Little Mermaid poolside bar in the Southern Wing serves snacks and drinks with a daily barbecue.
