The Chedi Hotel, Phuket is set in the aquamarine waters of the Andaman Sea, Thailand's tropical holiday haven of Phuket. The Phuket hotel is nestled in a peaceful seclusion on the island's finest shore of Pansea Bay. This luxury beach resort, adjacent to the exclusive Amanpuri, is an easy blend of timeless simplicity and modern sophistication.

The Chedi Hotel, Phuket has a total of 108 thatched cottages sitting under a shelter of coconut palms on landscaped slopes that gently descend to meet the white sand beach. With an array of watersports, The Chedi Hotel is the perfect choice for a relaxing beach vacation.

Rooms

Sheltered under a canopy of palm trees, The Chedi's thatched cottages rise from landscaped slopes to reveal stunning views of the turquoise sea and white beach. The rustic serenity of the cottages is reflected in the interior design where panels of woven palm fronds and earthen-coloured fabrics bring the outdoors inside.

All 89 one-bedroom and 19 two-bedroom family cottages have private verandahs with spacious sun-decks. The interiors feature hand-crafted teak floors and restful bedrooms leading to spacious dressing areas.

The one-bedroomed cottages include a king-size bed and a sofa bed and can accommodate up to two adults or two adults with one child. The two-bedroom cottages feature a master bedroom with a king-size bed and a sofa bed and a connecting room with twin beds. They are suitable for four adults or two adults with up to three children.

All rooms include a mini-bar, individually-controlled, air-conditioning, satellite TV, IDD telephone, room safe and complimentary coffee and tea making facilities.

Facilities

All The Chedi's restaurants offer imaginative menus, which combine continental favorites, the exotic flavors of the east and exquisite Thai cuisine.

LOMTALAY THAI RESTAURANT
Designed by the famous American architect Ed Tuttle, serving authentic Thai food amid the tasteful decor filled with Thai charm while retaining simplicity and friendliness. Backed by nightly live Thai classical music. Indoor and outdoor seating is available to take in the sweeping view of the Andaman Sea and gentle southern breezes.

BEACH RESTAURANT
The aquamarine waters of the Andaman Sea at Pansea Bay provide the idyllic scenery for the Beach Restaurant, a unique place offering scrumptious salads, steaks, Thai specialties and a wide variety of barbecue seafood in a relaxing, tranquil atmosphere. The Beach Restaurant is a seasonal outlet, open only between October to early May.

SUNSET CAFE
Great views of the deep blue Andaman Sea and dramatic black swimming pool; the ideal place to sit back, relax and watch the world go by. Sunset Cafe offers the best in Western and Thai cuisine as well as snacks and refreshments for sunbathers throughout the day.

SUNSET BAR
A casually elegant bar serving refreshments, cocktails and after dinner drinks. The perfect place to relax after an active day sightseeing. The Sunset Bar offers an unrivaled view across the Andaman Sea towards a brilliant Phuket sunset.

During several nights of the week, The Chedi offers special evening entertainment in one of the restaurants. Join our casual Beach B.B.Q on Pansea Beach or enjoy the elegant Thai dancers whilst savoring the Thai Village style Buffet in the Lomtalay Restaurant.

FACILITIES AND SERVICES

Recreational Facilities

Swimming Pool - Within the hotel grounds, a large, dramatic black swimming pool is the perfect place to cool off. Comfortable sun-beds and umbrellas surround the pool on spacious sun-decks.

Tennis Courts - Four flood-lit tennis courts are available at The Chedi for tennis enthusiasts.

Watersports - The Chedi, Phuket offers an array of watersports including catamarans, snorkelling and windsurfing. Sunset cruises and yacht trips are also available on charter boats.

Golf - There are five international-standard golf courses within 30 minutes of The Chedi, Phuket. Arrangements can be made at the resort.

Other activities - Diving trips, volleyball and beach games, badminton and table tennis.

Meeting Facilities

The Chedi's 120-square metre meeting room features floor-to-ceiling windows with spectacular views across scenic Pansea Bay. Catering for up to 50 people, the room can be configured for any type of meeting, whether theatre-style or as a boardroom. The resort has full conference and banqueting facilities and sophisticated audio/visual equipment for presentations are available on request.

Spa Facilities

Two indoor and two outdoor treatment rooms provide a tranquil oasis where you can be rejuvenated by traditional Thai treatments either alone or with a friend. An outdoor plunge pool also allows you to soak in the languid atmosphere and have your troubles melt away.
