Access to the rest of Koh Chang from Klong Prao beach and along Klong Prao Beach itself is relatively easy as the Klong Prao beach road runs almost everywhere in suitable distance from the beach and accommodation.

Laem Chaichet which forms the northernmost point of the bay is a perfect place to watch the sun go down and to do a spot of fishing.
In the late afternoon you can watch villagers searching the shallow waters at low tide for ?Khei? (small shrimps) - the main ingredient used to make shrimp paste ? a staple of authentic Thai cooking.

At the southern end of Khlong Prao Beach just off shore perch two small islands, Ko Suwan and Ko Rom whilst just inland you?ll find tour agents and internet facilities.

Getting to Klong Prao beach:
To Klong Prao Beach it takes about 30 minutes by taxi from the Dan Kao piers. Last known fare was 40Baht but might change as petrol costs increase yet again.
