It is certainly the most spectacular attraction in Bangkok. This inner city of glided temples, spiral towers, and sparkling finials stands protected behind an enormous white fortress. Wat Phra Kaeo is the personal chapel of His Majesty the king . It is also the revered seat of the guardian image of Thailand, the Emerald Buddha. The next visit is the Temple of the Lord Buddha before attaining nirvana. This temple is known as the first Open University in the Thai history. The visit ends with Chinatown which is a thriving market-place that never sleeps.
