1 day Golden Triangle

Highlights: Visit the Hot spring, ancient temple city, Golden triangle, Mae Sai border, hill tribe and long neck people

Itinerary
Depart from hotel at 7:15 A.M. Drive up the northern route to Chiang Rai.
Stop to visit hot spring at about 9h00, relax and explore for about 30 minutes.
After the hot springs drive straight to the Chiang Saen ancient city, the temple and the Chedi Luang. Time to wander around the old temple and beautiful pagoda.
From the temple it's a short trip along the edge of the Mae Khong River to the famous golden triangle of Thai-Laos-Myanmar. You'll stop to visit around Golden Triangle for 1 hour and you have the option to take a boat trip across to the Laos market at the other side of the river bank (not included).
Have lunch at a local Thai restaurant.
After Golden Triangle the group travels on to the Mai Sai border, the northernmost town in Thailand. Walk around the Thai – Burmese local trading market and the temple to see a beautiful view over Myanmar.
After visiting the border, head to Thaton direction Chiang Mai province. Along the way visit the hill tribe villages of the Karen longneck hill tribe, the long ear people, and Akha hill tribe. You'll have about 1 hour there before heading back to hotel town arriving late at about 21:00.
